We are here and we’re excited to see what God is doing in San Antonio, Texas! We are Pastors Rudy and Nellie Lugo and we’ve been married 10 years. We’re here with our children, Ezekiel (Zeke) and Levi.

When Nellie and I met at Praise Chapel Paramount in 2009, only God knew the plans He had for us. Those plans led to us planting a church here in San Antonio.

We were two different people from two different backgrounds with the same goal: To love Jesus and love people. We were married a year later in 2010.

Our lives changed forever in 2011 when our son Ezekiel came into the world early and severely premature weighing 1lb 2oz. The world didn’t give him much of a chance, but by the power and grace of God, Ezekiel is a miracle. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned it for good! Today, he is 8 years old. He is kind, loving, competitive, and excels in everything he does.

Our second son Levi was born in 2014. God knew what we needed when he blessed us with this smart, loving, and tender hearted little boy with the heart the size of Texas! He is also very competitive, so it’s never a dull moment when the two boys are together; The #zekeandlevishow.

We’ve led bible study since 2012 and became Assistant Pastors in 2016 at our home church Praise Chapel Paramount. In August 2019, we were asked to pioneer a church in San Antonio, Texas and there wasn’t a doubt in our minds we were called. We are grateful and thankful to our Pastors Omar and Letty Lopez for all the love, support and spiritual guidance they’ve imparted into our lives. We are honored to start this new work.

We arrived here on December 31, 2019 and just in time for the new year, the new decade, and our new lives here for the Kingdom of God.

Simply put, we’re just a family that loves Jesus and loves people.

We can’t wait to meet you and to share the love of Jesus with our city!
